The Scientific Research Laboratory of Forestry
The Laboratory activities include coordination and carrying out a wide range of scientific research on Forestry, Ecology, and Biology of native and artificial forest ecosystems. The scientific team of the Laboratory conducts research on the ecosystem functions of both native and artificial forest ecosystems, the establishment and reproduction of forest plantations, their taxation, inventory, monitoring, and auditing. Particular attention is paid to the development of modern methods of forest reclamation and phytoremediation of disturbed lands, innovative approaches, and technologies for creating green infrastructure in the urban environment.
The specialist team of the Laboratory is able to solve a wide range of scientific, fundamental, applied, and economic issues in the forest industry. It provides consulting services and scientific project consultations.
