From the DSAEU, the delegate to the congress of the Public Organization "Ukrainian Society of Soil Scientists and Agrochemists" was the Head of the Department of Agrochemistry, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Senior Researcher, Professor S.M. Kramarev.

At the beginning of the congress, the representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the International Union of Soil Scientists, the delegations of soil scientists and agrochemists of Japan, Poland, Uzbekistan, Romania, Moldova,Belarus and other countries presented their speeches to the delegates of this scientific forum.. During four days in five sections scientists from different countries shared their scientific achievements in their reports and outlined plans for future research in the field of soil science and agrochemistry.

At this congress, the Head of the department of agrochemistry DSAEU, the Doctor of agricultural sciences, Professor SM Kramarev, spoke to the audience about the agrochemical scientific achievements of the department of agrochemistry and the experimental results obtained. He emphasized that modern agricultural production requires special attention to the maintenance of soil fertility, the development of optimized fertilizer systems, the production of new forms of organic and mineral fertilizers, the introduction of the latest agrotechnologies for the use of fertilizers, which will increase the percent of use of nutrients from them, and all this in no way can be avoided without improving the existing service agrochemical service of agricultural enterprises. For protection of our national wealth the soil should become a priority state affair. First of all, it is necessary to suspend the further development of degradation processes in the soil and restore them a positive balance of humus and nutrients. Congress delegates unanimously supported the proposal to resume the opening of a specialty in agrarian high schools "Soil Science and Agrochemical Service". At one time, in this specialty, most delegates of the congress received their basic higher agricultural education at Kharkiv National Agrarian University and the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management. In today's conditions, it is possible to carry out agro-chemical monitoring of soils, to determine their bonus and to offer scientifically-based measures for the restoration of lost fertility by qualified knowledge in the field of soil science and agrochemistry.

Delegates discussed and adopted the resolution of the congress and prepared an appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with proposals to draft laws on soil protection. The Central Council of the Ukrainian Society of Soil Scientists and Agrochemists of Ukraine was elected, the place of conducting in four years of the next XII Congress was determined for Chernivtsi National University. Alongside with this, the direction of further research on soil science and agrochemistry was chosen. Delegates of the congress had an opportunity to get acquainted with the magnificent soil museum of the Department of Soil Science and field experiments of the Department of Agrochemistry, which is very rich in its funds by the Library of the Kharkiv National Agrarian University.

Also a very exciting and meaningful field trip was organized by the scientific staff of the ESC by the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the Grakiwski experimental field, where the field experiments of the institute were conducted. Such soils - our national heritage and our main task of preserving them for future generations, they have no price, because they, as V.V. Dokuchaiev  spoke at one time are "more expensive than gas, oil, gold and platinum."
