At Staff Week DSAEU was represented by Dean of Management and Marketing Faculty Larysa Kurbatska, Chief of International Affairs and Public Communications Iryna Volovyk, and the leading specialist of the IRO Olena Pavlenko.
The mobility program was very comprehensive: a study tour at the UPWr's Campus, and the training on the preparation of grant applications under the HORIZON EUROPE from Dr. Sean McCarthy, founder of the Hyperion platform. Special attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the development of international academic mobility (Erasmus+ and NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchanges). An interesting addition to the program was a seminar on writing scientific articles from Centrum Ksztalcenia IDEA. The meeting with foreign doctoral students who study at UPWr inspired participants a lot.
It is interesting that the history of the Veterinary Faculty of the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences began in Lviv in 1881. After the Second World War, it was transferred to Wroclaw, however, the year 1951 is considered the official founding date of the university. Modern UPWr has 5 faculties: biology and animal husbandry; biotechnology and food technology; environmental engineering and geodesy; veterinary medicine; natural sciences and technologies (including the Institute of Economic and Social Sciences, agronomy, and engineering directions).
The fruitful week ended with the preparation of a joint application from Ukrainian universities, which laid the foundation for developing collaborative projects to develop the potential of higher education.
We express our sincere gratitude to our Polish and Ukrainian colleagues! Join together and develop joint initiatives to strengthen the education and science system in Ukraine! Together to the Victory!
